Mammoth Snowman Report 7-15-2017

,

7-15-2017 6 AM – Happy Summer to everyone, Snowman here with you. Ever since the first day of summer it’s been hot here in Mammoth.

The summer heat as expected has melted the snow down faster then expected. The good news is the snow that remains is in great condition.

Snow conditions are a very fun soft summer corn snow. The size of the corn snow is bigger then it gets in spring.

All I know is every time I go out I have a hard time leaving at noon and I come home with a smile on my face. You need to give it a try ASAP.

**See our Fresh Photo Snow Report Below**

So with the melt down the mountain has decided to push snow around daily to keep things going. You can still ski down to Main Lodge and Chair 1 via Broadway and St Anton.

Lifts open are Chairs 1, 3 and 23 along with G1 and G2 to the top. Lifts hours for Summer Snow Sports are from 730AM to 12PM.

Runs open are Broadway, Face of 3, Saddle Bowl, St Anton’s, Cornice Bowl, Drop Outs, Climax, Sign Line and a Short section of upper Dry Creek. Beware there are some bare spots and some rocks out there.

The Mountain Bike Park is open with 17 miles of terrain ready to go. No lifts access just the bike park shuttle or peddle away.

Trails open are: Uptown, Downtown, Lakes, Juniper, Timber Ridge, Paper Route, Big Ring and a rebuilt Shot Gun are open. More trails should open daily now…

Happy Summer – Pray for Snow – Snowman Out!
