When Traveling to Mammoth Lakes please carry chains and a winter survival kit with extra water in your trunk as well.   We can get multiple feet of snow anytime from late September – May.   Just to note: We have also seen snow on some of our area roads 12 months of the year.

During periods of Snowfall please yield to snow plows and give them plenty of room.

Hint for the day.  When it snows drive SLOW! Also 4×4′s make up the majority of tows during storm days.  So use caution and always carry chains no mater what the current weather is outside!
