At this time the ski area has picked up 10-15 feet from this storm cycle that has one more system to affect us. The last system will move thru on Thursday and then we clear out for the big Holiday Weekend.
Expect Snowfall amounts over the next 36 hours around 12-18 inches from Main Lodge to the top.
Out on the hill today the Snow Conditions being offered up are some fresh powder turns on lower Lincoln and the Trees of 15, 4 and 8. There are some groomed sections that have accumulating snow on them.
Thursday will offer up more snow, but I do expect a 50 50 chance that they get Lincoln Mountain Open vie 22 and 25.
By Friday things start to clear out and the ski area will be able to take on the task of the final avy control so they can get the top, the backside and chair 9 running again.
If your coming up for Friday be prepared it will take a long time to clear the upper mountain after 16 feet of snow. Please no complaining in line this is serious avy danger.
If you’re coming for the MLK weekend get ready for lot’s of fun on a massive base of snow. There is also going to be a big crowd as the town is 99% booked now. So get out on the hill early to avoid the masses.
If you want more snow late next week the next storm cycle comes in and that one has 10+ inches of QPF in it. WG says it will all be snow and not just on the Mountain but also in town.
