We have picked up 4-7+ feet of new snow over the last 48 hours from Main to the top of the mountain.
On Friday expect it to take a long time to get things 100% open and running. The powder that is not in the trees will also be a bit wind effected.
The base from Main up is 80 – 170 inches and we expect it to go way up over the next 10 days.
If you thinking about coming up for the weekend, storm 2 is on the way. Snow Levels Saturday are expected to be around 8000-8500 feet so the powder will turn to base snow this weekend.
On Sunday snow levels are coming up above the Main Lodge to 9000-9500+ feet. Then late Sunday night back down to 8000—8500 feet.
There are colder storms now lined up for next week so we my get rain, but the next systems should be all snow.
10 Day QPF is 20+ inches of water for Main lodge. That could add up to 20 feet of snow over the next 10 days.
